MLA felicitated Sakhis for their outstanding role in implementation of Mukh Mantri Mawan Dhiyan Scheme

A large gathering of women was witnessed at the Sakhi Samman Samaroh organised by Chabbewal MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar. The event was organised to honour the Sakhis who played an important role in taking the Mukh Mantri Mawan Dhiyan Scheme to women at the grassroots level. A large number of women participated in the event and made it a meaningful gathering filled with a sense of togetherness and belonging.

Member of Parliament from Hoshiarpur, Dr. Raj Kumar, also attended the event as a special guest. During the ceremony, the Sakhis were honoured in appreciation of their efforts and role in ensuring that the benefits of the “Mukh Mantri Mawan Dhiyan Scheme” reach every eligible woman in Chabbewal. On the occasion, Dr. Raj Kumar said that the Sakhis not only spread information about the scheme to the people but also established direct contact with women, thereby playing an important role in strengthening the campaign at the grassroots level.

Addressing the Sakhis, Dr. Ishank Kumar said, “The Sakhis of Chabbewal worked with dedication and put in tremendous effort, making our constituency the first in the entire district to achieve this target. I am proud of my women power for this achievement.” The MLA thanked the Sakhis and all the women of the constituency, saying that the blessings of the mothers and the trust of the sisters who are part of his extended family of constituents are his greatest strength, and maintaining this trust is also his greatest responsibility. He said that seeing such a large number of mothers, daughters and sisters together and experiencing their warmth and affection was very special for him.

Dr. Ishank further asserted that the success of any public welfare scheme depends not merely on its announcement, but on ensuring that it reaches the people in the right manner. The Sakhis have carried out this responsibility with full dedication. Their hard work and direct connect with people have been an important part of the entire effort. He said that the event was a way of expressing gratitude for the Sakhis’ hard work and service.

Dr. Ishank Kumar also welcomed the presence of Member of Parliament Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal and said that their relationship with Chabbewal is one of love, respect and service, and that this special bond will always remain there and get stronger with time. 

The presence of Swami Satyavartanand also made the occasion more special. His presence and blessings added a sense of spirituality and warmth to the gathering.

Women participated in the event with great enthusiasm. The large presence of women and the honour bestowed upon the Sakhis turned the occasion into a memorable and emotional gathering.
