Renowned actor Ashutosh Rana and his theatre team will present the acclaimed play “Hamare Ram” in Hoshiarpur on September 4 and 5, with four free shows at James Cambridge International School, as announced by MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa and Punjab Culture and Tourism Department advisor Deepak Bali.

Press conference announcements
Speaking at a Wednesday press conference, MLA Jimpa and advisor Deepak Bali said the Bhagwant Mann government is prioritising inter-faith harmony and respect for all religions, and is using cultural initiatives to convey the spiritual heritage of Sanatan Dharma.
They described “Hamare Ram” as an effort to connect people—especially youth—to Indian culture and the ideals of Lord Ram, citing his simple life, sense of duty, sacrifice and moral discipline as timeless inspirations for society.

Call to citizens
Jimpa and Bali urged Hoshiarpur residents to attend the shows in large numbers and help make the event a success, calling it both a cultural and spiritual opportunity to experience a high-quality theatrical rendition of the Ramayana.
The press conference was also attended by Mayor Praveen Saini, Senior Deputy Mayor Surinder Kumar, SDM Parampreet Singh and Tejinder Rana.
