Chabbewal MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar Launches Door-to-Door Campaign at Village Ghumiala Part of AAP's Statewide Awareness Drive

: Under the Aam Aadmi Party's statewide door-to-door awareness campaign, Chabbewal MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar today personally led the campaign in village Ghumiala of his constituency, carrying the message of "Mann Da Munafa" straight to people's doorsteps. The special drive was launched by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann from Dhuri on September 21.

During the campaign, Dr. Ishank Kumar, along with his colleagues, walked door to door across Ghumiala village on foot, reaching every household. They sat with families and explained how the state government's welfare schemes — from free electricity, honor allowance to females and healthcare to education support — are changing people's lives. According to government estimates, an average Punjabi family is saving up to ₹1.82 lakh annually through these schemes. He said that for many households across Punjab, these are not just numbers on a government report card, but real relief that has eased the burden of everyday expenses and given families a little more breathing room.

The response from the people of Ghumiala was overwhelmingly warm and positive. During the visit, several elderly residents had a long, heartfelt conversation with Dr. Ishank, their eyes reflecting genuine gratitude as they thanked him for the government's policies and his tireless efforts for the constituency. Women too spoke emotionally about how these savings had eased their household budgets, turning the MLA's visit into a deeply personal, emotional community moment.

Alongside sharing the government's achievements, Dr. Ishank Kumar also gave time to villagers who wished to share their concerns with him. He personally noted their problems, took prompt action wherever possible, and directed the concerned authorities to follow up on the remaining issues — reflecting his active and accessible approach to representing Chabbewal.

Dr. Ishank Kumar said the campaign would continue across all villages in the constituency in the coming days, giving the government an opportunity to present its report card directly to the people while also learning about their further hopes and concerns.

"This is about accountability and direct connection with the public. The warmth we received in Ghumiala today, especially from our elders, was truly heart-touching. Listening to people's problems and ensuring they are resolved is just as important as sharing the government's achievements," Dr. Ishank Kumar said.
