Hoshiarpur /Daljeet Ajnoha/September 14: The Dasuya sky witnessed a spectacular display of 500 synchronized drones on Monday evening as the Punjab Government organized a magnificent drone show, dedicated to the 650th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji.
The one of its own kind aerial show seen by a large gathering of people, blended technology with spirituality to narrate the life and philosophy of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji. Synchronized drone formations, narration, and immersive storytelling brought alive Guru Ji’s eternal message of equality, brotherhood, compassion, social justice and human dignity.
MLA Advocate Karmbir Singh Ghuman, addressing the gathering, said the spectacular show was a befitting tribute to Sri Guru Ravidas Ji and an innovative effort to take his timeless message to the younger generation. This was not just a drone show, it was a powerful presentation of Guru Ji’s message of equality and human dignity for the new generation, he said.
The MLA Ghuman said that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, was celebrating the 650th Parkash Purab with great devotion while simultaneously using modern platforms to spread Guru Ji’s universal philosophy. He said the Punjab Government was organizing 92 drone shows across the state as part of the celebrations. He said that the objective was to make the younger generation aware of Guru Ji’s revolutionary philosophy through a medium that captures their imagination besides disseminating Guru Ji’s teachings, which were relevant in present time.
Ghuman said the state government had earmarked Rs 100 crore for programs dedicated to the 650th prakash purb. He said that documentary shows based on the life and teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji were being screened in 13,000 villages, taking Guru Ji’s message to the grassroots. He said seminars based on the life and teachings of Guru Ji were also being organized for students in the educational institutes across the state.
The MLA said that all of us are fortunate enough celebrating 650th Prakash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidass Ji with yearlong celebrations including seminars, documentaries and religious events. He called upon people to celebrate this historic purb with utmost devotion and unity to further spread the message of Guru Ji.
During the drone show, renowned Ragi Bhai Jasvir Singh Ji chanted the hymns of Gurbani and performed kirtan.
