Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary Model School, Shimla Pahari, Hoshiarpur Becomes District Champion in Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 Beach Volleyball

The girls of Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary Model School, Shimla Pahari, Hoshiarpur, delivered an outstanding performance in the beach volleyball matches of the 70th District-Level School Sports Competition 2026–27. The Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 girls’ teams won gold medals in all three age groups, bringing great pride and honour to Vidya Mandir School.

The competition was held at Government High School, Bhana, under the guidance and direction of District Education Officer Harjinder Kaur and District Sports Coordinator Jagjit Singh.

Because of their excellent sporting performance, eight players from the school were selected to participate in the state-level competition.

On this remarkable achievement, School President Anurag Sood, Secretary Dr. Harshwinder Singh Pathania, Principal Shobha Kanwar, Manisha Joshi and the entire staff congratulated the players and their coaches—Malkiat Kumar, R. C. Mehta and Ashwani Sharma—upon their return to the school.

They expressed their best wishes and hoped that the teams would continue to deliver outstanding performances in the future as well. Special blessings were also extended to Captains Meenakshi and Lovepreet, as well as Yakshita.
