Khwaja Wali Shrine Holds Devotional Annual Mela in Rehla Village

The annual Mela at the Khwaja Wali shrine in Rehla village was held with deep devotion and enthusiastic participation under the leadership of President Ranveer Ram Pal. Organized with support from the shrine committee members, the village panchayat, local residents and non‑resident Indians, the two‑day event began with committee members performing the ceremonial offering of a chadar (sacred cloth) and lighting of lamps.
The Mela main proceedings began on the second day after noon, when prominent performers sang the praises of the saint. Qawali artists and other performers kept the crowd spellbound with devotional renditions. Local dignitaries and a large number of devotees attended the gathering.
The shrine committee honoured the artists and several distinguished visitors, and continued the tradition of serving a community feast to the congregants. Among those present were retired teacher Pandit Mangu Ram, president Ranveer Ram Pal, Sarpanch Gurminder Rana, Mukh sevadar Dalbir Rimpi, and committee members Charanjit Billa, Naresh Bhatti, Varinder Singh, Davinder Babu, Binder Bhatti and Supreet Bhatti, along with many other devotees.
