The players of King Edward Public School (KEPS) have brought laurels to the school with their outstanding performance in the Zonal School Games and CBSE Cluster Athletics competitions. The school’s various teams secured 8 positions in the Zonal School Games, while another remarkable achievement at the CBSE Cluster Athletics competitions held in Pathankot brought the total to 9 positions.
In the Zonal School Games, the U-19 Boys’ Volleyball and U-19 Boys’ Basketball teams secured 1st position with an impressive performance. The U-19 Girls’ Kho-Kho, U-14 Boys’ Volleyball, and U-14 Boys’ Basketball teams secured 2nd position.
Similarly, the U-19 Boys’ Tug of War, U-17 Boys’ Volleyball, and U-17 Boys’ Tug of War teams secured 3rd position, showcasing their talent, determination and sporting spirit.
In addition, at the CBSE Cluster Athletics competitions held in Pathankot, KEPS’s promising student Arshpreet Kaur secured 3rd position in Long Jump with an impressive performance.
Thus, KEPS has secured a total of 9 positions in the field of sports, comprising 2 first, 3 second and 4 third positions. This achievement reflects the school’s strong emphasis on sports, the hard work of its players and the dedicated guidance of its coaches and sports teachers.
The school’s Managing Director, Dr. Mohinder Singh Jaswal, and Principal, Mrs. Asha Sharma, congratulated all the winning players, their coaches and sports teachers on this remarkable achievement. They appreciated the players for their hard work, discipline and dedication and encouraged them to continue striving for greater success in the future.
