Hoshiarpur /Daljeet Ajnoha/August 12
— BJP state secretary Meenu Sethi appealed to citizens to make the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign a success by hoisting the national flag at their homes. Sethi distributed tricolour flags to women during the event.
Sethi said the tricolour is not merely a flag but a symbol of the nation's unity, integrity, pride and patriotism. She added that under the campaign, party workers and residents would be given flags and every family would be encouraged to display the tricolour at home.
She urged BJP workers to visit homes and involve people in the campaign to strengthen the spirit of nationalism. Quoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for the initiative, Sethi said the "Har Ghar Tiranga" drive is bringing millions of citizens together. A tricolour flying at every home, she said, signifies respect for the country and pays tribute to the sacrifices of the nation’s brave martyrs.
Sethi called on all citizens to participate enthusiastically, hoist the flag at their homes and fulfil the pledge of "Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Dil Tiranga."
