Newly appointed Principal of S.D. College, Hoshiarpur, Dr. Ajay Kumar Rana, has said that his primary objective will be to take the institution to new heights in the field of education. He emphasized academic excellence, quality education, research, innovation and the overall development of students as key priorities.
Social worker and educationist Sanjiv Kumar met Dr. Ajay Kumar Rana and extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on assuming his new responsibility. Sanjiv Kumar expressed hope that Dr. Rana’s rich academic and administrative experience would contribute significantly to the further progress and development of the college.
Dr. Ajay Kumar Rana brings nearly 20 years of teaching and research experience from LLRM College of Education, Dhudike, Moga. During his academic career, he has served as an Associate Professor and held several important administrative responsibilities, including Vice Principal, Acting Principal, Bursar and IQAC Coordinator. He holds a Ph.D. in Education and has made significant contributions to the field of academic research.
During the meeting, Dr. Rana said that strengthening the academic identity of S.D. College and providing students with quality education and better opportunities would remain among his major priorities. He said efforts would also be made to promote research, innovation and modern teaching-learning practices at the institution.
Sanjiv Kumar appreciated Dr. Rana’s extensive experience in education, research and administration and expressed confidence that his leadership would open new avenues of growth and development for S.D. College. He wished Dr. Rana success in his new assignment and hoped that his expertise would be fully utilized for the betterment of the institution and its students.
