Donate Eyes – Gift Sight: One Decision Can Change a Life”Eye Donation Awareness Seminar Organised at Kallar Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Hariana

The Eye Donation Association (EDA), Hoshiarpur, organised an eye donation awareness seminar at Kallar Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Hariana, as part of the Eye Donation Awareness Fortnight being observed from 25 August to 8 September.

Baba Balbir Singh of Birdh Ashram, Hariana, was specially present on the occasion, while Principal Madam Reeta Saini welcomed the initiative and assured full cooperation from the school.

Addressing the students, EDA President S. Suresh Chand Kapatia highlighted the Association’s 26 years of dedicated service towards promoting eye donation. He urged students to become ambassadors of this noble cause and carry the message of eye donation to their families and society.

General Secretary S. Baljit Singh explained the importance and procedure of eye donation, stating that a decision made during one’s lifetime can help restore sight to people suffering from corneal blindness. He encouraged students to discuss eye donation with their parents and inspire others to pledge their eyes.

Vice-President S. Gurpreet Singh, Finance Secretary S. Harbhajan Singh, S. Onkar Singh Dhami and Madam Jatinder Kaur also participated actively in the programme.

The Association expressed gratitude to Baba Balbir Singh, Principal Madam Reeta Saini, the school management, staff and students for their valuable support.

The programme concluded with a message to the community:
