Today, on the occasion of 80th Independence Day 2026 during press meet PGM BSNL Hohiarpur Sh. Dalvinder Singh Manku told that Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), has announced special promotional offers on this day to provide affordable, reliable and high-quality telecom mobile and broadband services to the customers.
He told that ₹1 Freedom Plan has been re launched, for New mobile and MNP customers. Under this plan customers can avail a free SIM with 1 GB data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day for 24 days.
BSNL has also announced an offer on its ₹2399 annual recharge plan, giving mobile customers an extra 47 days of validity. The plan includes 2 GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS daily, extending the total validity from 365 days to 412 days. This promotional offer is available on both plans from 12 August to 12 September 2026.
For broadband customers, BSNL has introduced a new ₹1111 Fiber Super Plus OTT Plan as a special Independence Day offer. The plan provides high-speed internet at 200 Mbps, 5,000 GB of monthly data, unlimited voice calls across India, and access to 27 OTT platforms.
Additionally, the ₹259 Rural Entry Broadband Plan already available for rural customers, offering high-speed internet at 25 Mbps, 700 GB of monthly data, free Waves OTT, and unlimited 24x7 voice calls across India.
PGM also stated that BSNL is delivering mobile services under 4G saturation project in areas such as the Kandi region, where private operators have yet to establish coverage. He highlighted that BSNL’s 4G network is indigenous, affordable, secure, and free from spam. Reaffirming BSNL’s commitment to bridging the digital divide, he emphasized the company’s focus on affordable telecom solutions and high-speed FTTH services. He also extended his heartfelt wishes to citizens on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day.
