Under the guidance of Chief Engineer Rakesh Gupta, the Red Cross unit of the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) has donated two air-conditioners to the BBMB Hospital in Talwara to enhance patient comfort and strengthen hospital facilities.
The information was shared by BBMB Red Cross chairperson Mrs Seema Gupta, who said the unit has always prioritised public welfare activities. She added that the gift was presented to the hospital on the occasion of the nation’s 80th Independence Day.
Red Cross secretary Mrs Dimple said both air-conditioners have already been installed at the hospital and will benefit patients by improving their comfort.
BBMB Hospital’s Principal Medical Officer Dr Surinderpal Singh expressed gratitude to the BBMB Red Cross for providing the ACs and described the support as a commendable contribution toward improving hospital facilities.
