Bandi Singhs’ Release: Ardas Ceremony at Sahibzada Ajit Singh Public School, Ladhewal

— Under the direction of Shri Harjinder Singh Dhami, President of the Directorate of Education and Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, a special Ardas (prayer) ceremony was held at Sahibzada Ajit Singh Public School, Ladhewal for the release of the Bandi Singhs.

During the ceremony the school principal, the entire staff, students and their guardians took part in the congregational recitation of the sacred Sukhmani Sahib. On this occasion an Ardas was offered at the Guru’s feet for the release of the Bandi Singhs, for chardi kala (rising spirit) and for the wellbeing of all.

Principal Mrs. Rajvinder Kaur said that Ardas is an important part of Sikh life and that we must always pray for humanity, justice and chardi kala. The congregation participated in the Ardas with devotion and respect.
