Dr Naresh Kumar Bhumbla (Kambala) of Hoshiarpur shines internationally; name entered in the “United States of America Book of World Records”

Dr Naresh Kumar Bhumbla (Kambala), a resident of Hoshiarpur district of Punjab, has achieved a major accomplishment in the field of social service and protection of human rights, bringing the name of the entire state and country to the global stage. During a special ceremony held at the prestigious Constitution Club of India in the national capital New Delhi, Dr Bhumbla was honoured with a "World Record Certificate" (certificate number: USABWR1104) by the renowned "United States of America Book of World Records" (USABWR) for his unparalleled services. This honour was issued to him on June 26, 2026. Along with this, his unique achievement and social contribution were prominently covered in the reputed international magazine "USA Herald."
First PhD holder from the Gurjar community
Another historic achievement has been recorded in the name of Dr Naresh Kumar Bhumbla. He has become the first person from the Gurjar community to obtain a PhD in the subjects of Social Services and Human Rights. He is currently serving as the National President of the "World Human Rights Protection Commission" (WHRPC).

15 years of tireless social journey
For the past 15 years Dr Bhumbla has been continuously active in social service, organising blood donation camps and tree-plantation campaigns for environmental protection. He has been consistently encouraging youth to plant trees for environmental purity and to donate blood for the welfare of humanity.
Praised at constitutional and international level
In the certificate issued by the organisation’s International Secretary (USA), Mr Tom Washington, and International Chairman (India), Dr. Avinash D. Sakunde, Dr Bhumbla’s visionary leadership, advocacy of human rights and efforts for social change were highly praised, which was also specially mentioned in the USA Herald magazine’s report.
On Dr Naresh Kumar Bhumbla’s great achievement, residents of the area, various social organisations and the community expressed happiness and congratulated him, saying that his journey will become a major source of inspiration for coming generations.
