**Congress stages protest march against NEET paper leak, blasts CBSE mismanagement; /****effigies of PM Modi and Education Minister burned

 — Hundreds of Congress workers, led by Daljeet Singh Gilzian, president of the District Congress Committee, Hoshiarpur, today staged a massive protest march against the NEET paper leak and widespread mismanagement and poor administration in the CBSE. Demonstrators burned effigies of Prime Minister Narender Modi and Union Education Minister Dharmender Pradhan and demanded the immediate dismissal of the education minister.

Their main demands on the occasion:

Dissolve the NTA (National Testing Agency) and establish a reliable, transparent examination system for NEET.

Immediately rectify the flaws in CBSE’s Online Screening and Marking (OSM) system.

Blacklist the contractor Coempt Edutech and initiate a full investigation against it.

Dismiss Education Minister Dharmender Pradhan.

Daljeet Gilziya said that 22 lakhs students across the country had appeared in NEET, yet the question paper was leaked; this is the second such leak in NEET’s history, but no decisive action has been taken.

Cabinet Minister Sangat Singh Gilzian said the NTA has repeatedly failed in conducting NEET exams; dissolving it and creating a new transparent system is essential for students’ futures. He pointed out serious flaws in the CBSE’s OSM system and alleged that Coempt Edutech was granted special concessions to win the contract despite being previously blacklisted by the Telangana government.

The Congress made it clear that if the education minister has failed in every duty, Prime Minister Modi should explain why he continues to protect and shield him.
