The champion team of the Under-17 STC BSF Diamond Jubilee Football Championship was felicitated at Government Senior Secondary Smart School, Padi Sura Singh. Principal Harbilas Bangan, school staff and members of the Meeri Piri Sports Club honored the players and coaches of the Padi Sura Singh Football Academy, who won the Under-17 tournament organized by the Border Security Force (BSF).
While congratulating the team, Principal Harbilas Bangan urged every child to take part in sports for a healthy life. He added that the academy will ensure players receive full academic support alongside sports training so they can contribute to the progress of Punjab and the country.
Jathedar Iqbal Singh Kheda, in his address, congratulated the principal and the school staff and said the Meeri Piri Sports Club, with support from NRI brothers, will continue to provide all possible facilities to help the football academy reach greater heights.
