— The State Election Commission has issued a schedule for polling in the Shamchurasi Municipal Council, announcing that nominations will be accepted from Saturday, May 30. Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Ashika Jain said the municipal council elections have been fixed for Saturday, June 13, 2026.
Nominations may be filed from May 30, 2026, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The last date to submit nomination papers is June 3, 2026, up to 3 p.m. Scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on June 4, 2026, and candidates may withdraw their nominations until 3 p.m. on June 5, 2026.
Polling will be held on June 13, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and counting of votes will commence immediately after polling concludes the same day. Nomination papers for elections to the nine wards of Shamchurasi Municipal Council will be received at the office of the Executive Officer, Room No. 3, Municipal Council Shamchurasi.
