Dera Bapu Balbir Das Ji in Maili village, Hoshiarpur district, will celebrate the Murti Sthapana Diwas (idol installation anniversary) of Almast Faqir Bapu Ganga Das Ji on May 17 with great devotion and love, as in previous years. Organised under the guidance of Baba Balbir Das Ji with the support of devotee groups, the event promises a spiritual gathering filled with reverence.
Baba Balbir Das Ji announced that continuous recitations of Shri Ramayana, dedicated to the occasion, are underway. The bhog (offering) will be presented on May 17, followed by the final ahuti (oblation) in the sacred havan (fire ritual). Leading artists and kirtan performers will then pay obeisance at Baba Ji's feet, glorifying his divine grace through their programmes.
Langar (community kitchen) will be served continuously to all devotees. Those present on the occasion included Omi Baba, Amit, Manish, Kala, Disha, Preeti, Anju, Happy, Madan, Jarnail, Gulzar and Pandit Sehaj Ram.
