Sant Bibi Kuldeep Kaur Mahina, member of the Guru Ravidas Sadhu Sampradaya Society Punjab, and Santosh Kumari have jointly appealed that no one should participate in the historic Begumpura Damri Shobha Yatra starting from Jalandhar Railway Station to Haridwar on April 3 under the influence of any intoxicants.
In a joint statement, they emphasized that the procession sees large participation from sisters, women, and children, urging the congregation to maintain discipline and decorum.
Society members stated that the Guru Ravidas Sadhu Sampradaya Society is committed to propagating the welfare-oriented bani of Satguru Ravidas Maharaj and advancing the revolutionary mission of Begumpura. This year, as in previous years, the procession—led by Chairman Sant Sarwan Das Bohan, President Sant Nirmal Dass Babejore, and General Secretary Sant Inder Dass Sekkhe—will depart from Jalandhar Railway Station at 1 pm on April 3 to celebrate the Prakash Purb of Guru Ravidas Maharaj in Haridwar.
On April 4, a foot procession will proceed from Nirmala Chhavni Ashram to Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar. On April 5, after the bhog of Sri Akhand Sahib Ji and kirtan darbars, the congregation will return to Punjab.
They added that Guru Ravidas Maharaj's bani advocates for an educated society, a vision aligned with the great works of Bharat Ratna Baba Sahib Dr. Ambedkar. Through these efforts, thousands of children are receiving education, fostering economic prosperity in the community.
