In a definitive step toward mastering the future of autonomous systems, the University School of Engineering and Technology (USET) at Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU )Punjab successfully organized an intensive workshop on Drone Technology & Innovations
Aligned with the university’s core mission of "Skill, Scale, and Speed," the workshop was meticulously curated to provide a 360-degree view of the drone ecosystem. Under the strategic guidance of esteemed leadership—including Dr. H.P.S. Dhami (Executive Dean, USET), Dr. V.K. Saini (Deputy Dean, USET), and Er. Mandeep Singh Atwal (Deputy Dean, USOP)—the session transitioned from the fundamental engineering of drone mechanics to the intricate details of the Indian Compliance Framework. A key focus was placed on the roadmap for Remote Pilot Training Organizations (RPTOs) and the necessity of certified drone courses to build a regulated, professional workforce.
Live demonstrations and expert discussions showcased the transformative power of Precision Agriculture, illustrating how drone technology can optimize crop yields, monitor soil health, and modernize traditional farming practices.
The technical depth of the workshop was significantly enriched by industry experts Mr. Mandeep Dogra (Accountable Manager & Principal) and Mr. Abhishek (Drone Engineer) from The Unati Drone Academy. With a combined expertise of over 450 hours of flight time.
