In a gesture prioritizing humanitarian service and public welfare, Hoshiarpur MLA Brahma Shankar Jimpa has donated two ambulances to the Civil Hospital in Hoshiarpur from Punjab government's Rangla Punjab Fund. Flagging off the ambulances, he stated that these vehicles will make it easier to transport especially the poor, helpless, and residents from remote areas to hospitals on time, helping save precious lives.
The event was attended by Dr. Mandeep Kamal, Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur; Dr. Jatinder Bhatia, District Health Officer; Dr. Swati Shemar, Deputy Medical Commissioner; Dr. Navjot Singh, SMO; Dr. Neha Pal, SMO; Tarsem Lal, District Mass Media Officer; Ravinder Jassal, Deputy Mass Media Officer; and Satpal, PA.
On the occasion, MLA Brahma Shankar Jimpa emphasized that these ambulances, provided from the Rangla Punjab Fund, aim to ensure timely hospital access for people from all sections of society, particularly the needy and critically ill patients. He added that the government is continuously working to improve health services for the public.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Mandeep Kamal remarked that the ambulances donated by MLA Jimpa for social service represent a vital step in serving humanity. These vehicles will prove highly beneficial in emergencies and strengthen healthcare services.
Senior Medical Officers Dr. Navjot Singh and Dr. Neha Pal from Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur expressed heartfelt thanks to MLA Jimpa for the donation. They assured proper maintenance of the ambulances, pledging their exclusive use for humanitarian service and maximum aid to those in need.
