Hoshiarpur's promising women cricketers Surbhi Narayan and Anjali Seemar, training at the HDCA Centre, have brought glory to the district with their selection in the Punjab Under-23 Women's Cricket Team. HDCA Secretary Dr. Raman Ghai shared the news, noting that Surbhi, a student at Woodland School, and Anjali, from Government College Hoshiarpur, had previously captained the Punjab Under-19 Women's Team.Dr. Ghai said the selection has sparked joy across Hoshiarpur district. The Punjab Under-23 team will compete in the BCCI's National Under-23 Women's Tournament in Gurugram, Haryana.He added that with the dedication shown by Surbhi, Anjali, and other players like Puja, Shivani, Niranka, Suhana, Vanshika, Aastha, Annya, Dhruvika, and Prateeka, Hoshiarpur is poised to produce an international women's cricketer in the coming years.HDCA President Dr. Daljit Khela congratulated the players and extended best wishes on behalf of the association. District women's coach Davinder Kaur, junior coach Nikita Kumari, HDCA district coach Daljit Singh, district trainer and former national player Kuldeep Dhami, junior coach Pankaj Pinka, and Dinesh Sharma also felicitated the duo and wished them success.
