Lok Sabha Member from Hoshiarpur Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal  and Dr. Ishank Kumar, MLA from Chabbewal, distributed relief checks amounting to Rs. 10.68 crore issued by the government to the families whose houses were damaged due to heavy rains in the district. It is noteworthy that the government has given these amounts to affected families ranging from Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,20,000. On this occasion, Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal said that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has fulfilled the promise he made to the affected families. He said Aam Aadmi Party government is a government of the people and, therefore, is a companion to the people in their joys and sorrows everywhere. Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal said that the state government has fulfilled all its promises on time, while other political parties believe in making promises but never fulfill them. He further stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, record development work has taken place in the state, and a large-scale project is still underway. Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal said that the condition of the district's roads will soon improve in the coming days. On this occasion, MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar said that government-provided services are being extended to every household in the Chabbewal assembly constituency. He added that the people of the area are members of our family, and it is our duty to develop every family, which is being done with utmost dedication. Dr. Ishank Kumar said that just as relief funds have been provided to rain-affected families, relief will continue to reach people under other government policies.
