The ancient Mata Kalyani Mandir on Jaijon Road in Khanni village, Hoshiarpur district, witnessed the grand conclusion of its weekly bhandara and Sri Mad Bhagwat Katha programme today, organized by the Mandir committee under the leadership of president Tilak Raj Khanni, with support from devotees.The event wrapped up with deep reverence. Committee members first performed a havan ceremony followed by kanjak pujan. Renowned artists Pawan Jindal, Sandeep Udyanwaliya, and Sham Raja then enthralled the gathering with hymns glorifying the glory of Maha Mai.On this occasion, a free medical camp was organized by the Mahilpur branch of Vishwa Manav Ruhani Kendra, Nawa Nagar, where patients received free medicines.President Tilak Raj thanked contributors including Baldev Singh, Pandit Ram Lubhaya, Suresh Kumar, Harbhajan Lal, Rajesh Kumar Raja, and bhandara volunteers Anil Agarwal, Joginder Pal Mannan, Dr. Lakhwinder Singh, Pandit Kailash, Bobby Anand, and Rohan Vij. Members of the Mata Kalyani Welfare Society, local residents, and villagers from surrounding areas attended daily throughout the week.
