Rayat Bahra Professional University has taken a significant step towards strengthening industry-academia collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Quantum Papers Limited. This agreement will promote cooperation between the two institutions in the areas of training, research, and skill development.
The MoU was signed by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Chandra Mohan on behalf of Rayat Bahra Professional University and Associate Vice President (Human Resources) Ajay Sharma on behalf of Quantum Papers Limited.
Under this agreement, training and placement opportunities will be created for students. Industry visits, guest lectures by industry experts, and joint research, innovation, and skill development activities will also be organized to expose students to the industrial environment.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Chandra Mohan said that this collaboration will help bridge the gap between academic education and industry requirements, providing students with practical experience and industry-oriented skills.
He added that this MoU reflects Rayat Bahra Professional University's commitment to academic excellence, employability-focused education, and strong industry linkages. It will also provide Quantum Papers Limited with an opportunity to play an active role in shaping future professionals.
Quantum Papers Limited's Associate Vice President Ajay Sharma said that this partnership will prove to be an effective step towards long-term collaboration, shared expertise, and sustainable development, benefiting students, faculty, and the industry. Also present on the occasion were Dr. Jasdeep Dhami, Dr. Rajesh Moja, Manmeet Bains (Placement Officer), along with other deans and faculty members of the university.
