Hoshiarpur city's son, Lieutenant Gaurav Devgan, was felicitated by the district BJP for completing training at the National Defence Academy (NDA) and being commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Indian Armed Forces to serve the nation.
Marking this historic achievement, BJP state secretary Meenu Sethi, district president Nipun Sharma, Umesh Jain, Bindusar Shukla, Gurjeet Singh Vadhavan, and Prem Bajaj visited his residence today to honour Lieutenant Gaurav and congratulate his father Ravikant and mother Ritu Sharma.
BJP leaders stated that the spirit of discipline and patriotism permeates the entire Devgan family, and it is these values that inspired Gaurav to join the Indian Army and dedicate himself to national service.
District president Sharma praised Lieutenant Gaurav, saying this accomplishment is a matter of pride not just for his family but for all of Hoshiarpur. He added that youth are the future of the nation, and their success will inspire coming generations to pursue national service.
Lieutenant Gaurav Devgan credited his parents, teachers, and mentors for his success, noting that serving the country was his dream, which the NDA helped him realise.
