Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Dec.1— The longstanding demand of villagers in Bham, a village in the Chabbewal assembly constituency, has been fulfilled with the conversion of its pathway into a concrete road. MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar, representing the Aam Aadmi Party, announced the completion of this project, highlighting that the 1.5-kilometer-long pathway has been concretized and widened to 18 feet, with an expenditure of ₹1.15 crore.Dr. Kumar explained that the road frequently suffered damage due to water-related issues, but with the new durable concrete structure, it is expected to last longer and facilitate smoother movement for the villagers.He further stated that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, rapid progress is being made to develop the state's road infrastructure. Strengthening basic infrastructure remains a government priority to ensure better travel convenience for citizens.Emphasizing his development agenda, Dr. Ishank Kumar said that all villages are receiving attention without discrimination, with improvements tailored to local needs. During his interactions with the villagers, he expressed optimism about the swift development of the Chabbewal region and reiterated his goal of working collaboratively with people for public welfare.He also mentioned that funds allocated for development works in various villages are being utilized with a focus on quality, covering not only roads but also lanes, drainage systems, playgrounds, sewerage, and gym facilities. Villagers present during the event thanked their MLA for the road and other ongoing development initiatives, reaffirming their support for him.
