Tributes Pour In as Capt. Mangal Singh’s Antim Ardas Held at Jalandhar Gurdwara

Capt. Mangal Singh, former Sarpanch of village Sarupwal in district Kapurthala, passed away on 18 November 2025, leaving the entire region in deep mourning. His Antim Ardas ceremony was solemnly held today at Gurdwara Sahib, Urban Estate Phase-1, Jalandhar.
On this emotional occasion, his sons Gurwinder Singh (USA), Gurpreet Singh (USA), and Harjit Singh (USA) paid heartfelt tributes to their late father, remembering him as a dedicated leader, a noble-hearted individual, and a guiding force for the family and the community.
Raagi Jathas recited Gurbani Kirtan, providing spiritual comfort to the sangat and praying for eternal peace to the departed soul.
A large number of prominent personalities from religious, political, social, and business spheres attended the ceremony to offer their respects. Among the notable attendees were Giani Raghubir Singh ji, Head Granthi, Sri Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar, Bibi Jagir Kaur, Former President, SGPC, Giani Harpreet Singh, Former Jathedar, Akal Takht, Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar,
Parteek Singh Jaanu, Incharge, BJP Cell, Uttar Pradesh Government.
Their presence reflected the high regard and respect Capt. Mangal Singh earned throughout his life.
The family expressed heartfelt gratitude to all who joined them in this hour of grief and prayed for the peace of the departed soul.
