Akali Dal to Contest District and Block Committee Elections with Full Strength, Announces Jatinder Singh Lali Bajwa

 The Shiromani Akali Dal has declared its intention to contest the upcoming district council and block committee elections with full vigor. This announcement was made by the party’s district president Jatinder Singh Lali Bajwa, who also officially declared Iqbal Singh Gopi as the party candidate from the Jahan Khelan district council seat.The announcement took place in the presence of senior leaders including Sanjeev Talwar, Shamsher Singh Bhardwaj, Jagtar Singh, Sukhjinder Singh Aujla (Pradhan Soy Doaba), Japinder Atwal, Inderjit Kang (Youth Pradhan Dehati), Babbu Bajwara, among others.Lali Bajwa stated that under the stewardship of party president Sukhbir Singh Badal, the Akali Dal remains united and strong. However, he added that the opposition government is making efforts to suppress Akali Dal leaders due to this unity. He further revealed that the party’s high command will soon announce the candidates for all district council and block committee seats, following which the party will conduct its election campaign with utmost dedication.Highlighting the party’s commitment, Lali Bajwa said every worker will strive tirelessly to disseminate the party’s policies to every household. He expressed confidence that the Shiromani Akali Dal will form the government in Punjab in the 2027 assembly elections.
