Acute Question Raised on Government’s Integrity as Akali Leader Kanchanpreet Kaur Acquitted

In a significant judicial development late last night, the honorable court of Tarn Taran acquitted Kanchanpreet Kaur, daughter of Akali leader Principal Sukhvinder Kaur Randhawa, of all charges after hearing prolonged arguments from lawyers. The verdict has cast a serious question mark over the government’s alleged use of vindictive politics.Advocate Shamsher Bhardwaj stated that with the resurgence of the Akali Dal, the present government is in dire straits, resorting to abuse of power by filing false cases against Akali leaders. He further added that the common public is fully aware of these tactics and is expected to support the Aam Aadmi Party in the upcoming district council and block committee elections.Prominent legal figures including Satwinder Bedi, Advocate Sukhwinder Singh Auplaa, Vikram Thakur, Japinder Atwal, and Kuldeep Singh Babu were also present at the occasion.
