Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leaders have expressed strong optimism about a decisive victory for their party in the upcoming Tarn Taran by-election. Speaking at a campaign meeting in support of SAD candidate Principal Sukhwinder Kaur Randhawa, senior party figures Jatinder Singh Lali Bajwa, Advocate Shamsher Singh Bhardwaj, Rana Ranbir Singh, and Davinder Singh Bains Bahowal addressed local workers and supporters.After the meeting, the leaders said the overwhelming public enthusiasm witnessed during the campaign clearly demonstrates growing dissatisfaction with the current Punjab government. According to them, citizens are eager to replace an administration they describe as marred by corruption, misgovernance, and lawlessness.Lali Bajwa and Bhardwaj alleged that crime has surged sharply under the present regime, with murders, robberies, and loot incidents reported almost daily across the state. They lamented that public safety and administrative accountability have deteriorated to unprecedented levels.The Akali leaders maintained that the people of Tarn Taran have already made up their minds to ensure a resounding win for the SAD candidate, signalling the beginning of a political shift in Punjab.
