Punjab Government Fully Alert to Tackle Heavy Rainfall and Flood Challenge: Sandeep Saini BECFINCO Chairman appeals to people not to pay attention to rumors and to follow the directions issued by the administration

BECFINCO Punjab Chairman Sandeep Saini today said that the Punjab Government is fully alert to deal with the recent challenge of heavy rainfall and floods, and comprehensive arrangements are being made at every level. He clarified that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the administration has given top priority to relief and rescue operations in flood-affected areas.
Sandeep Saini informed that various departments in the district have been activated to ensure the supply of relief material, establishment of temporary shelter camps, availability of health services, and supply of drinking water. At the same time, continuous monitoring of the condition of roads and bridges is being carried out to ensure the safe movement of people.
The Chairman said that the Punjab Government has initiated joint efforts with the district administration, Red Cross Society, and social service organizations to ensure timely help reaches those in need. He also appealed to the public not to pay attention to rumors and to strictly follow the directions issued by the administration.
Sandeep Saini assured that the Punjab Government stands firmly with the people. Every affected family will be provided full support, and no one will have to face this hardship alone.
He further said that collective cooperation is the greatest strength in dealing with such a disaster, and with the people’s support, the government will surely overcome this difficult situation.
