Former Member of Parliament Avinash Rai Khanna interacted with students preparing for the UPSC examination under a special program. On this occasion, he explained the true definition and essence of UPSC to the aspirants.
Khanna said that the foundation of UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) lies in public service. Giving an example, he said that if we remove “U” and “C” from UPSC, what remains is only “Public Service.” He added that in reality, if every individual understands and fulfills their duties sincerely, then every citizen is a public servant in their own right. However, to serve the people through the government system, one has to clear the UPSC examination.
Khanna further said that he is confident all aspirants preparing for UPSC will succeed in their examinations and dedicate their lives to public service.
