₹80,000 Contribution for Flood Victims Cheque handed over to Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain Deputy Commissioner termed the step as an inspiration for others

Deputy Commissioner and Chairperson of District Red Cross Society, Aashika Jain, said that the entire Punjab is currently struggling with the flood tragedy. In such testing times, while the government is extending every possible help to the affected families, social service organizations, NGOs, companies, schools, and colleges are also coming forward with valuable contributions, fulfilling their duty towards humanity.
She informed that in this series, around 15 members of the Lady Wing of the Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section, Hoshiarpur, collectively raised ₹80,000 and presented it to the District Red Cross Society. This amount has been specifically contributed to support flood-affected families.
Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain expressed gratitude to the members of the Welfare Section for their contribution and said that their step is truly inspirational for others. She appealed to philanthropists, industrialists, and social organizations of the district to also come forward and become partners in helping flood-affected familiesDistrict Red Cross Society Secretary, Mangesh Sood, said that the members of the Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section, Hoshiarpur, through this contribution, have assured that they stand firmly with disaster-affected families at all times and will continue to extend every possible support in the future as well.
On this occasion, Rakesh Kapila (Executive Committee Member), Kuldeep Kohli, Nisha Vij, Kumkum Sood, Dolly Cheema, and Joint Secretary Aditya Rana were especially present.
