Today, the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" (One Tree in Mother's Name) program of the Government of India was organized by My Bharat Hoshiarpur at Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur. Dr. Swati Shimar, SMO, Lion Vijay Arora, President Lion Club, and Ally Ramesh Kumar , North Multiple Chairman Alliance Club were especially present at the event. The Faculty Manager Mrs. Monika Kanda, Staff Nurse Neelam Sharma, and Harpreet Kaur were the anchors of the program.
To make the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" program a success, SMO Dr. Swati Shimar, Lion Vijay Arora of Lion Club, Dr. Shifa (ANA Hoshiarpur), nursing student Kamaljeet Kaur, and theatre artist Ashok Puri planted bottle brush trees in the hospital's arrival park, in the name of their respective mothers. On this occasion, a pledge was also taken that everyone should plant a tree in their mother's name and nurture it. Afterwards, SMO Dr. Swati Shimar stated that planting and conserving trees is a crucial need of the present time. She emphasized that we should not merely plant trees, take photos, and forget about them, but should rather understand our responsibility to take care for these trees.
On behalf of Bahurang Kalamanch Hoshiarpur, nursing sisters Sikandar Kaur, Kulraj Kaur, and Paramjeet Kaur honoured the chief guest of the program, Dr. Swati Shimar, by presenting her a shawl. One-year-old twin children, Takshveer Singh and Tanvi Kaur, were specially present at today's program. At the end of the program, Madam Shashi provided refreshments to the participants.
