Baba Barfani Langar Service Begins from Dasuya for Amarnath Pilgrims Service started from July 1, devotees arriving from across the country

As in previous years, the Baba Barfani Seva Committee, Dasuya, has once again commenced its Langar (community meal) service for Amarnath Yatra pilgrims, starting July 1. Providing details about the initiative, Committee President Kailash Dogra stated that the Langar Hall located in Dasuya serves as a significant stopover for devotees traveling to the Amarnath Shrine, especially those coming from Gujarat, Maharashtra, and southern parts of India.
Pilgrims not only receive delicious and free meals here, but also rest before continuing their journey. This hospitality eases their pilgrimage experience. The Langar service is being run entirely through the efforts of the committee and support from local volunteers.
Educator, social worker, and senior journalist Sanjeev Kumar visited the Langar site to understand the scale and spirit of this noble endeavor.
To ensure smooth operations, responsibilities have been assigned to various members of the committee. Kailash Dogra is serving as the President, while Vinod Ralhan is managing the finances as Treasurer.
A dedicated team of volunteers is actively contributing to this service. Among those involved are:

Kanwal, Dheeraj Dheer (Babba Dheer), Vishal Walia, P.S. Jaggi, Jaswant Singh, Vijay Anand, and Madan Lal.
Sanjeev Kumar praised the committee's initiative, stating that this service is not only religiously significant, but also a true example of humanitarian spirit.
Pilgrims expressed their appreciation for the Langar service, calling it a noble act of devotion. The efforts of Baba Barfani Seva Committee continue to serve thousands of devotees each year, offering food, rest, and assistance, and standing as a beacon of selfless service and compassion.
