Sai University is fast emerging as a center of excellence in higher education, and a major driving force behind this transformation is its dynamic and youngest Pro-Chancellor, Mr. Tushar Punj. In a candid conversation with senior journalist Sanjeev Kumar, Mr. Punj shed light on the university’s unwavering commitment to student success—both within and beyond the classroom.
Mr. Punj emphasized that one of the core priorities of Sai University is to ensure strong placement opportunities for its students. “We understand the aspirations of today’s youth. Our university is focused on aligning academic learning with industry needs, and that's why we are introducing a wide range of future-oriented, technology-driven courses,” he stated. These include programs designed to equip students with skills in artificial intelligence, data science, digital marketing, robotics, and other emerging domains.
What truly sets Sai University apart, according to Mr. Punj, is its emphasis on the all-round development of students. “Education is not just about books and exams; it is about shaping responsible, confident, and capable individuals,” he said. Under his leadership, the university has become a vibrant campus where students actively participate in cultural programs, sports tournaments, leadership development activities, and community outreach initiatives.
Despite his administrative responsibilities, Mr. Punj remains deeply connected with the student body. “I regularly interact with students to hear their feedback, understand their concerns, and help guide them toward meaningful careers. I believe a university leader should be approachable and empathetic,” he added.
He further highlighted that Sai University is not merely an academic institution—it is a nurturing ecosystem where talent is recognized, creativity is encouraged, and students are given the tools and support to realize their full potential.
