Enthusiastic Celebration of "Anusmaran-2025" at D.A.V. College of Education, Hoshiarpur

Under the guidance of Dr. Anoop Kumar, President of DAV College Managing Committee, and Shri R.M. Bhalla, Secretary, D.A.V. College of Education, Hoshiarpur, organized the Alumni Meet Anusmaran-2025 with great enthusiasm, led by Principal Dr. Vidhi Bhalla.
Prof. (Dr.) Jaspal Singh Sandhu (Vice Chancellor, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara; Former Vice Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event began with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony.
In his address, Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu shared his experiences with the alumni and encouraged them to pursue higher education. He said, “Embrace upcoming opportunities, keep learning, and aim to make a positive impact on the world.”
Dr. Anoop Kumar  expressed hope that such programs can contribute meaningfully to the nation’s development.
Shri R.M. Bhalla congratulated all the alumni present and emphasized that impactful alumni are a treasure trove of knowledge and experience for current students and serve as a reminder to stay connected to their roots.
Principal Dr. Vidhi Bhalla welcomed alumni and guests from the 2020–2022, 2021–2023, and 2022–2024 sessions. She stated that the alumni meet is a platform for former students to share their success stories and journeys. She also presented the rich history and progress of the college, elaborating on the quality education provided, the modern library, internet access, guidance programs, and other supportive facilities available to students.
Students from the 2020 to 2024 batches enthusiastically participated and expressed pride in receiving education from this esteemed institution, which enabled them to serve the nation in educational and other prestigious roles. The event also featured songs, ghazals, and shared nostalgic memories by the alumni.
On this occasion, the Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Jaspal Singh Sandhu, President Dr. Anoop Kumar, and Principal Dr. Vidhi Bhalla honored members of the Alumni Association: Shri Gautam Mehta (Chief Patron), Shri Harish Chandra Sharma (President), Shri Sharanjit Saini (Vice President), Shri Chandra Prakash Saini (Joint Secretary), and Shri Rachhpal Singh (Commandant).
They also felicitated prominent alumni including Sardar A.S. Tatra (Principal, Play Way Model School, Hoshiarpur), Shri Amandeep Sharma (Principal, Government School, Sarahala), Madam Kirandeep Kaur Dhami (Principal, Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Pandori Khajur), Madam Timtani Ahluwalia (Principal, P.D. Arya School, Hoshiarpur), Madam Rupinder Kaur (Principal, Marigold Public School), Shri Rajesh Kumar (Principal, D.A.V. School, Hoshiarpur), Sardar Asapur Singh (Principal, Ch. Balbir Singh Public School, Hoshiarpur), Sardar Varinder Singh Nimana, and Shri Sanjeev Bakshi.
