A special meeting was organized by the Youth Sports Welfare Board at Fighter Support Zone, Kartarpur Road, Kapurthala. In this meeting, new members were appointed in the Youth Sports Welfare Board. Youth Sports Welfare Board President Rajiv Walia and his team felicitated the newly appointed members by giving them certificates and congratulated them. The newly appointed members in the Youth Sports Welfare Board are Satnam Singh (Patron Senior Citizen Welfare Committee, Kapurthala), Nitin Sharma (Legal Advisor), Gurmukh Singh (Advisor, Social Welfare Committee, Kapurthala), Gopal Krishan (Joint Secretary, Social Welfare Committee), Sukhdeep Singh Bajwa (Additional Secretary, Sports Club Help Committee, Kapurthala), Chandan (Member, Sports Club Help Committee, Kapurthala), Sandeep (Member, Sports Club Help Committee, Kapurthala). During the meeting, President Rajiv Walia told all the members that training camps for different sports should be organized in the month of April and members should be appointed in all the districts of Punjab. He said that soon blood camps, tree plantation camps, awareness camps for drug abuse, fitness and sports events will be organized in all the districts of Punjab. In this meeting, Jaspal Singh Panesar (Additional Secretary Senior Citizen Welfare Committee Kapurthala) while addressing all the members said that soon sports camps and championships will be organized in all schools and colleges and requested all the parents to connect their children with sports. Gurmukh Singh (Advisor Social Welfare Committee Kapurthala) thanked all the members of the board and said that whatever the Youth Sports Welfare Board is doing to eradicate drug abuse is commendable. On this occasion Balwinder Singh, Coach Rajinder Kumar Soni, Coach Pratap Singh, Coach Awadhesh Kumar, Sanjay Sharma, Manisha Arora (General Secretary), Avneet Kaur, Rabia, Pinyush, Kuldeep Singh, Hardeep Singh Kang, Santokh Singh, Suraj Bansal were present.
