Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that it is very important for farmers to select the right fertilizers to ensure high crop yield and maintain soil health. She said that on an average 55 kg DAP is used per acre for sowing wheat during Kharif season. By using other alternatives of DAP like NPK 12:32:16, Single Super Phosphate, NPK 16:16:16, and NPK 20:20:0:13, farmers can provide essential nutrients to the crops and maintain soil quality.
The Deputy Commissioner said that this fertilizer has a balanced mixture of nitrogen, phosphorus and potash, which is especially beneficial during the initial growth and flowering of the crop. DAP This alternative to DAP provides essential nutrients to the plants and maintains the health of the soil. This fertilizer contains 16% phosphorus, which dissolves slowly and becomes a source of nutrition for the plants. Along with this, it also contains sulphur, which increases the nutritional capacity of the plants.
The Deputy Commissioner said that this fertilizer contains 16% of nitrogen, phosphorus and potash, which provides complete nutrition to the plants and helps in the growth of their roots, stems, and fruits. Instead of DAP, NPK 16:16:16 is a better option, as it provides all three major nutrients. This fertilizer contains 20% nitrogen, 20% phosphorus and 13% sulphur. This fertilizer is suitable for fields where there is a high requirement of nitrogen and phosphorus. The presence of sulphur in it improves the nutrition of the plants and can be used especially to meet the sulphur deficiency in the soil. She said that by using these fertilizers, farmers can reduce the cost of farming and supply balanced nutrients to their soil.
