Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh Fulfils Promise — Cement Road Laid in Kakkon Village
Hoshiarpur /Daljeet Ajnoha /May 23— Keeping his pledge made during his first meeting with the newly formed panchayat, Cabinet minister and MLA Dr. Ravjot Singh has directed the construction of a cemented main road in Kakkon village under the Aam Aadmi Party government’s initiative to transform villages.
During the panchayat’s first jan sunwai (public hearing), attended by newly elected Sarpanch Anita Rani, villagers brought the village’s most pressing problem — the condition of the main road — to Dr. Ravjot Singh’s attention. Dr. Singh promptly assured them that the issue would be resolved. Following his instructions to the PWD, construction work on the new cement road in Kakkon has now begun.
The development has been welcomed with joy by residents. Sarpanch Anita Rani, panchayat members Paramjeet Kaur, Kulwinder Kumar, Karam Singh, Sunil Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, Kamaljeet Singh Bhupa and other villagers inspected the ongoing work and expressed their gratitude to the Punjab government.
